Next, either allow MxDB-Oracle-HiAv to configure Net Services or do so

with netca. (For additional information about SQL*Net requirements,

refer to “Configure Net Services (SQL*Net)” on page 17.)

NOTE: Note, if the listener.ora and/or tnsnames.ora files have been

manipulated with netca or netmgr, the solution pack will not

modify them as per the text these tools embed at the beginning of

the file.

Be sure to verify the

TNS_ADMIN path. While the default is generally

correct, it is important that the solution pack know where the SQL*Net

files are. In the example, the PROD database uses the default

TNS_ADMIN

directory and the listener will listen on port 1621. Click Apply.
