Upgrade MxDB-Oracle-HiAv from a
Release Earlier than 3.1.0
NOTE: If you have a large number of databases and are currently using
MxDB-Oracle-HiAv 2.7.2 or earlier, contact PolyServe Technical
Support to obtain the Large Upgrade Kit, which simplifies

To upgrade MxDB-Oracle-HiAv to the 3.5.1 release, you will need to

2. Remove all pre-3.1.0 Virtual Oracle Services with the
MxDB-Oracle-HiAv GUI or the Management Console.
3. Uninstall MxDB-Oracle-HiAv from each node of the matrix.
4. Uninstall MxODM from the node on which it was installed.
5. Install MxODM 3.5.1 into only one node of the matrix.
6. Install MxDB-Oracle-HiAv 3.5.1 on each node of the matrix.
7. Use the MxDB-Oracle-HiAv GUI to create new Virtual Oracle
Services. (The SQL*Net files will not have changed during the removal
