29. Install the Management Console:

# rpm -i <mountpoint>/mxconsole-3.5.1-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm

30. Install the quota tools RPM. (This RPM is optional).

# rpm -i <mountpoint>/pmxs-quota-tools-3.13-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm

31. If you did a fresh installation of the operating system, recreate mount

points for the PSFS filesystem.

32. Start Matrix Server on the upgraded server. Run this command:

# /etc/init.d/pmxs start

33. Repeat steps 18 through 31 on the remaining servers.

All servers are now running Matrix Server 3.5.1 in 64-bit mode.

Upgrade the Management Console on

Clients

If the PolyServe Management Console software is installed on client

machines, the software must be upgraded to the 3.5.1 version.

On Linux systems, uninstall the old version of the software:

# rpm -e mxconsole

Then install the new version:

# rpm -i <mountpoint>/mxconsole-3.5.1-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm

On Windows systems, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/

Remove Programs and remove the old version of the software. To install

the new version, double-click the file mxconsole_3.5.1.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi.
