15. Copy your new license file to /etc/opt/polyserve/licenses/license on the

server.

16. Start Matrix Server on the server. Run the following command:

# /etc/init.d/pmxs start

17. Repeat this procedure on the server with the next-highest IP address.

If the PolyServe Management Console software (versions earlier than

3.5.0) is installed on client machines, the software must be upgraded to

the 3.5.1 version. See “Upgrade the Management Console on Clients,”

below.

Upgrade the Management Console on

Clients

If the PolyServe Management Console software (versions earlier than

3.5.0) is installed on client machines, the software must be upgraded to

the 3.5.1 version.

On Linux systems, uninstall the old version of the software:

# rpm -e mxconsole

Then install the new version:

# rpm -i <mountpoint>/mxconsole-3.5.1-<xxxx>.<arch>.rpm

On Windows systems, select Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/

Remove Programs and remove the old version of the software. To install

the new version, double-click the file mxconsole_3.5.1.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi.
