Set the Global Event Delay:
mx device globalsettings [--eventdelay <seconds>]
If you do not specify the --eventdelay option, the command will return the
current value of the Global Event Delay.
The Global Event Delay specifies the number of seconds that a device monitor
should wait before failing over virtual hosts following a global event. If you
are experiencing unwanted failover/failback operations, increasing the Global
Event Delay may prevent the failovers. See “Set a Global Event Delay” in
chapter 14 of the PolyServe Administration Guide for more information.
mx disk – disk commands
Use the following commands to import SAN disks into a matrix, to remove
them from a matrix, or to display status information.
Import a disk into the matrix:
mx disk import <uuid> ...
To determine the uuid for a disk, run the mx disk status command, as
described below.
This command does not display an error message if the import fails. To
verify that the disk was imported, use the mx disk status --imported
command.
Display information about disks:
mx disk status [--imported]
With no arguments, this command displays the UUID, the size, and a
vendor string for each unimported disk in the SAN. To see this information
for imported disks, include the --imported argument.
In the following example,
20:00:00:04:cf:20:de:3b::0 is the UUID.
# mx disk status
