--config <file>

Specifies the configuration file to be consulted for server, user, and

password information. The file must have the same format as matrixrc.

--user <username>

Specifies the user to be logged in.

mxdb – perform MxDB-Oracle-HiAv operations

Synopsis

/opt/polyserve/mxdb_oracle_ha/bin/mxdb <options>

Description

This command is used to invoke the MxDB-Oracle-HiAv GUI. It also includes

options that enable Database Administrators to perform the same operations

available in the GUI.

The options are:

-c

Start the MxDB-Oracle-HiAv GUI.

-d <DBNAME>

This argument is required. It specifies the Virtual Oracle Service on which the

command should be performed.

-h <

$ORACLE_HOME>

Override the

ORACLE_HOME environment variable.

-Q

Query Service Status.

-O

Online service. Start a service monitor on the primary server.

-S

Stop service. Shut down an Oracle database.

-R

Remove the Virtual Oracle Service from the system.

-M [start|stop]

Maintenance Mode.
