After creating virtual hosts, you will need to configure your
applications to recognize them.
As of the 3.5.1 release, Matrix Server no longer uses the old aliases
interface but instead uses the
NETLINK facility to configure virtual
hosts as secondary addresses. As a result, ipconfig(8) should no
longer be used to query for Matrix Server virtual hosts. Instead, use
ip(8) for the queries. For example, ip addr show displays the virtual
hosts.
Add or Modify a Virtual Host
To add or update a virtual host, select the appropriate option:
To add a new virtual host, select Matrix > Add > Add Virtual Host or
click the V-Host icon on the toolbar. Then configure the virtual host on
the Add Virtual Host window.
To update an existing virtual host, select that virtual host on either the
Server or Virtual Hosts window, right-click, and select Properties.
Then make your changes on the Virtual Host Properties window.
