9. Repeat steps 1 through 8 for QAR14s18, QAR14S31, and QAR14S32
(node 2, node 4, and node 5 respectively).
NOTE: Steps 6-8 can be done with the NT Services manager by setting the
Startup Type to Manual. Also, the SQL Server service must be
restarted to allow the new DTC change to take affect.
Create Virtual SQL Servers
After all nodes participating in the virtual hosts are configured for remote
DTC hosting, the next step is to create the Virtual SQL Server. This
procedure is the same as if DTC is hosted locally by the node.
Create vSQLTest1
1. Open the PolyServe Management Console and select Matrix > Add >
Add Virtual SQL Server.
2. Specify the virtual IP and host name.
3. Uncheck the Manage MSDTC box; this is a MUST.
