5. Ensure that the Use local coordinator box is unchecked, specify the
remote DTC hosting node, and then stop the currently running DTC.
6. Open SQL Service Manager: Start > Programs > Microsoft SQL Server.
7. Select Distributed Transaction Coordinator from the Services
dropdown box.
8. Uncheck Auto-Start service when OS starts.
