Set Up the Remote Node for Hosting DTC
By having a dedicated node hosting DTC, the Virtual SQL Server can
move freely around in the matrix. Also, more than one Virtual SQL Server
can be active on a single node with 100 percent support to enlist in a
transaction.
The following procedure can be used to set up a node to host DTC (for
this example, we will use QAR4S5, which resides in a cluster outside the
virtual cluster shown above).
1. Open Component Services: Start > Programs > Administrative Tools.
2. Expand the Component Services folder and browse to the My
Computer folder.
3. Right click on the My Computer folder to bring up its properties
dialog.
