Use the PolyServe Management Console to change drive letter
assignments. Note that the change will take place on all nodes and
may affect applications.
Use Windows Disk Manager to change the assignments.
If you are using Windows 2000 Terminal Services to make the change,
you will need to log out and then log back in before you can use the
reassigned drive letters. The log out/log in step is not necessary for
Windows 2003 Terminal Services or for Windows 2000/2003 local
console use.
Add or Modify a Server
The above procedure describes how to add a server via the Matrix Wide
Configuration tab on the Configure Matrix window. You can also add a
new server by selecting Matrix > Add > Add Server on the PolyServe
Management Console. Then configure the server on the New Server
window.
To modify an existing server, select that server on the Servers window,
right-click, and select Properties. Then make your changes on the Server
Properties window.
Server: Enter the name or IP address of the server.
Server Severity: When a server fails completely because of a power
failure or other serious event, Matrix Server attempts to move any virtual
hosts from the network interfaces on the failed server to backup network
interfaces on healthy servers in the matrix.
