Contents of the 3.1.1 Release
The MxFS-Linux 3.1.1 release provides a File Serving Performance
Dashboard that displays NFS counters for Export Groups. The
Dashboard also includes the performance counters provided with the
Matrix Server Performance Dashboard.
MxFS-Linux 3.1.1 is now supported on the SLES9 2.6.5-7.191 and 2.6.5-
7.201 kernels.
The MxFS-Linux 3.1.1 release also includes fixes for the following
problems:
Defect 11178. An Export Group could disappear when moving an
application via drag and drop.
Defect 11251. A race condition could cause requests to be delayed.
Defect 11927. When a new export record was added to an Export
Group by using the Export Record Details dialog on the Management
Console, the resulting line in the /etc/exports file was formatted
incorrectly.
Defect 11932. A PSFS filesystem could not be removed from an Export
Group on all nodes hosting the associated Virtual NFS Service.
Defect 12122. An error that occurred when editing Export Groups via
the Management Console could cause a blank exports file to be written
over the current exports file.
Defect 12196. A race condition between Export Group changes and
NFS client activity could crash an nfsd server process.
Contents of the 3.1.0 Release
The MxFS-Linux 3.1.0 release provides the following:
Support for SLES9 Service Pack 2.
Support for 64-bit SLES9 running on EM64T and AMD64 processors.
Enhancements to the Management Console, including new icons and
features for improved presentation and control.
