Defect 11721. The mx service enable and mx service disable
commands did not report an error when the network interfaces were
not specified in the command.
Defect 11768. The--up and --down options to the mx netif status
command did not work correctly.
Defect 11774. The operation to destroy a snapshot did not always
complete successfully.
Defect 11831.When the Properties dialog was opened for a
SHARED_FILESYSTEM monitor, a space was added to the file name.
causing the monitor to go down.
Defect 12042. psfsck crashed when rebuilding a large filesystem.
Defect 12052. On the Applications tab, if a device monitor was moved
to another server via drag and drop, the monitor became active on the
backup server instead of the new server.
Defect 12064. When the Management Console was reconnected, some
of the memory it was using was not released.
New Features in Matrix Server 3.1.0
Matrix Server 3.1.0 provides the following new features:
Hard and soft quotas for users and groups are supported on the PSFS
filesystem. See the PolyServe Matrix Server Administration Guide for
information about enabling and managing quotas.
The PSFS filesystem supports file access time updates.
•A new command, psfsinfo, reports information about specific PSFS
filesystems.
Novell YES certification.
Matrix Server 3.1.0 also provides support for the following new platforms
and operating system versions:
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 with Service Pack 2.
64-bit SLES9 running on EM64T and AMD64 processors.
