Install PolyServe Matrix Server
This chapter describes how to perform a new installation of PolyServe
Matrix Server on servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS/ES 4 or
SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9.
Supported Operating Systems
The supported operating systems and kernels are as follows. See the
PolyServe Web site for any updates to the list of supported kernels.
Contents of the Matrix Server Distribution
The Matrix Server distribution contains the following files:
• pmxs-3.1.2-<xxxx><arch>.rpm. The Matrix Server software in Red Hat
Package Manager (RPM) format. The RPM also includes drivers for
the supported Host Bus Adapters. There are two versions of the
