View Counter Details

When you click the Detail button for a particular counter, you will see

some additional information about the counter, including the name of the

counter and the associated performance object (either CPU, memory,

filesystem I/O, or system).

The Detail view also shows performance information for each instance of

the performance object. For example, the Detail view for the Average

CPU utilization counter shows the performance for each individual CPU,

as well as the aggregate value.

The bar in the center of the display shows the current, minimum,

maximum, and average value for the instance of the counter that is

highlighted on the bottom of the window (the aggregate instance in this

example). The values are calculated based on the samples that are visible

on the graph, not over the time that has elapsed since monitoring was

started. The Duration field specifies the maximum amount of time that

can be displayed on the graph (250 seconds).
