Matrix Database Solution Pack

for Oracle HiAv on Linux

The Matrix Database Solution Pack for Oracle HiAv on Linux (MxDB-

Oracle-HiAv) and PolyServe Matrix Server provide high availability for

Oracle database instances and Net Services listener processes.

Changes in the 3.1.1 Release

The following problem has been fixed:

• Defect 12515. Diagnostic feedback was improved in probe failure

cases.

New Features in the 3.1.0 Release

This release provides support for MxDB-Oracle-HiAv running on Matrix

Server 3.1. The supported operating systems are:

• 32-bit or 64-bit

SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 with Service Pack 2 and a

supported kernel.

• 32-bit or 64-bit Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS/ES 4.0 and a supported

kernel. (Matrix Server 3.1.0 Patch 2 must be installed to use MxDB-

Oracle-HiAv with RHEL4.)
