The status bar at the bottom of the GUI indicates the tasks it is performing

as shown on the following screen.

Configure an Existing Database

To configure High Availability for an existing database, first shut the

database down, then start the configuration GUI by executing the

following commands from an xterm session. You must be the Oracle user

or a member of group DBA, and

ORACLE_HOME must be set in your

environment.
