MxDB-Oracle-HiAv Command Line Interface
The High Availability component of Matrix Server is a superuser
infrastructure. The mxdb command provides Database Administrators
with a secure, fixed set of administration functionality. The command can
be executed only by users in group DBA. This ensures that database
operations such as startup and shutdown can be performed only by
either Oracle DBAs using the mxdb command, the MxDB-Oracle-HiAv
GUI, or the System Administrator through the PolyServe Management
Console.
