System components
The system is shipped with provisioned storage and a configured cluster
that includes three filesystems. System components include:
• EVA4400 dual controller
• 3.6 TB to 96 TB of storage
• Two to five DL360 servers, each with 24GB RAM
• Array Based Storage Management with Command View 9.1
• Dual Fibre Channel switches
• Network switch
• Keyboard, Video, Mouse (KVM) switch
• Business Copy EVA for snapshots
• SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 10, SP2 (64-bit mode)
• HP Scalable NAS and Volume Manager software
IMPORTANT:
Novell® Software Subscription Support Registration. Your
product includes, for each server, an instance of a Novell
operating system that must be registered with Novell for software
subscription support. Each of the media kits in your shipment
contains a registration card with a unique registration code
and registration instructions. To obtain software subscription
support, you must register each code following the instructions
on the cards. Please retain the registration documents for your

System setup
The following system setup is included in the Installation and Setup
Service provided with your purchase:
1. Inspect the shipping crate for damage, unpack the system, and install
it in the proper location.
2. Power up the power distribution unit (PDU).
3. Install Command View licenses on the EVA Array Based Manage-
ment Module (ABM).
