Removing and replacing an optical drive

The following describes the procedure for removing and replacing an optical drive in the

700ux/1100ux Optical Jukebox.

Note: Before replacing a drive, obtain the most current version of the jukebox controller and drive

firmware for the model and option of the jukebox you are servicing.

Note: Online drive repair is not supported.

To remove and replace an optical drive:

1. Power off the jukebox.

2. Remove the two Torx screws that secure the top panel to the jukebox and lift the top panel

off the unit (see Figure 2).
