when the drive is installed
■ Check SCSI ID assignments and
resolve any conflicts.
■ Ensure that the SCSI ID for the HBA
is different from that of the drive.
■ Check for proper SCSI cabling and
termination.
■ Ensure the maximum cable length
for the bus has not been exceeded
(12 meters for LVDS and 3 meters
for SE).
