1 Introduction These directions include steps to apply the Oracle July 2008 Critical Patch Update (CPU). For the patches to work properly, you must first upgrade Oracle to 9.2.0.8, and then you must install the Oracle July 2008 CPU. Introduction
2 Applying the Oracle July 2008 Critical Patch Update Each quarter Oracle issues a critical patch. These instructions are for installing Oracle Patch 19, which includes the Oracle July 2008 critical patch update and some additional software fixes. This patch assumes you have successfully upgraded Oracle to 9.2.0.8. If you have not upgraded to Oracle 9.2.0.8, you will not be able to apply the patch. IMPORTANT: • HP Storage Essentials SRM is unavailable when installing the Oracle July 2008 CPU.
