Supported Brocade Events
The Event Manager displays the following events from Brocade switches:
• RSCN events: Events about the state of the switch, such as it being offline.
• Fabric Watch events: Events about the threshold of the switch, such as threshold below.
• Fabric Access library events: Events about proxy switch health.
• Zoning events: Events about zoning, such as zone-related state change notification.

EV_OBJ_CREATE
One or more new physical
fabric objects (device port,
switch, or fabric) have
appeared.
3Critical
EV_CONNECTED_OBJECT_OFFLINE
A device connected to a switch
has gone offline.
4Major
EV_CONNECTED_OBJECT_ONLINE
A device connected to a switch
has come online.
5Info
EV_RSCN
For those RSCN events not
covered by
EV_OBJ_xxx codes listed
above. Examples
include: fabric, domain,
connected area state unknown,
connected device state
unknown.
7Minor
EV_API_HEART_CONDITION
Monitoring proxy switch.
11 Major
EV_STATE_CHANGE
State changes such as: login,
logout, login failed,
configuration change, track
on/off, port up/down, fabric
segmentation, security
violations, zone change.
12 Major
EV_PLATFORM_CHANGE
The platform database has
changed.
