Step 1 - Stop the AppStorManager and HP SIM
Before you begin upgrading the management server, stop AppStorManager, which is the service
that runs the management server and HP SIM.
Step 2 - Export Your Existing Database
Export your existing database by using the Database Admin Utility. Refer to the User Guide or
online help for more information.
Step 3 - Upgrade HP SIM
How you upgrade HP SIM depends on your deployment setup:
