Added support for the following operating system:

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.6
• Microsoft® Windows Server® 2011 Small Business
• Microsoft® Windows Server® 2011 Small Business Essentials
• Microsoft® Windows Server® 2008 R2 SP1
Microsoft® Windows®
SmartStart version 8.70 will be the last release that contains Microsoft® Windows® 2003 PSP. The
Microsoft® Windows 2003 PSP will continue to be available to download from the HP website
(http://www.hp.com).
Included drivers for the following new components in the HP ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) 8.70 for
Windows®:
• HP NC-Series QLogic P3P Multifunction Driver for Windows® Server 2008 x32, x64 and R2 Editions
• HP StorageWorks Fibre Channel Over Ethernet Adapter Kit for the x32 and x64 QLogic Storport Driver
Removed drivers for the following components from the ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) 8.70 for Windows®:
• HP NC-Series QLogic nx3 Multifunction Driver for Windows Server 2008 x32, x64 and R2
NetWare
SmartStart version 7.91 was the last release that contained NetWare PSP. The NetWare PSP will continue to
be available on the web for download.
Linux
SmartStart version 8.60 was the last release that contained Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 PSP. The Red Hat
Enterprise Linux 4 PSP will continue to be available to download from the HP website (http://www.hp.com).
Included drivers for the following new components in the Linux ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) 8.70 for Linux:
• HP NC-Series QLogic qlcnic Driver for Linux.
Removed drivers for the following components from the Linux ProLiant Support Pack (PSP) 8.70 for Linux:
• HP StorageWorks QLogic Fibre Channel Driver for 2.6.x Kernels
• HP StorageWorks QLogic Fibre Channel Driver for c-Class Blade Servers
