You need to install the 4.6.16.0
version of the HP NC-Series
Broadcom 1Gb Multifunction Driver
for Windows after updating to PSP
version 8.11 and prior to updating
to PSP version 8.15 or later. This
is required because of an
architecture change in the
Microsoft support libraries for this
driver. Failure to go through the
4.6.16.0 version of the driver prior
to updating to PSP 8.15 or later
and rebooting the server can cause
all the NICs to disappear and in
some cases a total re-imaging of
the OS before the NICs can be
seen again.

Several critical fixes were made to the
7.90 base to resolve several driver
issues including the following:

SAS/SATA Controller Driver

earlier) and HP Insight

(PSP) 7.90.
