The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit is a set of templates and scripts that allows configuration of
Serviceguard packages for internet servers as well as for third-party database management systems.
This unified set of high availability tools is supported on HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3.
The Serviceguard Manager Version B.03.10 supports ECMT Version B.06.00.
The ECMT B.06.00 Oracle toolkit packages can co-exist with SGeRAC A.11.19 and A.11.20
packages.
This toolkit is required to package Oracle Data Guard application with HP Serviceguard using the
HP Serviceguard Oracle Data Guard toolkit.
The ECMT Oracle Toolkit can also be used to package the Oracle E-Business Suite database tier.
NOTE: If the version of HP Serviceguard in the High Availability OE (HA OE) or Data Center
(DC OE) is not A.11.19 or A.11.20, you must first upgrade to HP Serviceguard version A.11.19
or A.11.20. For more information on upgrading Serviceguard versions, see the following documents:

The Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit is being released with the following product numbers:
HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3:
• Product T1909BA—version B.06.00—documentation, software and license
◦ For HP-UX 11i v3:
– HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.03.01.00 with CVM/CFS
5.0.1, and pre-enabled for A.04.00 with CVM/CFS 5.1 SP1.
– High Availability Operating Environment (HA OE) and Data Center Operating
Environment (DC OE), Application Release (AR), September 2010 or later.
◦ For HP-UX 11 i v 2:
– The ECMT toolkit is available through e-delivery.
NOTE: If the toolkit is running on HP-UX 11i v2 or 11i v3, then either HP 9000 servers or HP
Integrity Servers are supported.

Toolkit Components
The toolkits included with the Enterprise Cluster Master Toolkit have been restructured for ease of
use and maintainability. The structure contains the following components:
