The prerequisite "VRTSdbms3.VXDBMS,l=/opt,r=3.0.244.0" for
fileset "ASGV4.ASGVPKG4,l=/,r=A.02.00" cannot be successfully
resolved.
ERROR: The dependencies for fileset "ASGV4.ASGVPKG4,l=/,r=A.02.00"
cannot be resolved (see previous lines).
• What is the workaround?
To start the DBMS server:
1. Check the state of the installed VRTSdbms3 (5.0/v3) package:
$ swlist -a state VRTSdbms3# VRTSdbms3 VRTSdbms3.VXDBMS installed
2. If the state of the package is not configured, complete the following steps:
a. Check for the DBMS server process - is it running? If yes, stop the process:
$ ps -ef| grep dbms
$ /sbin/init.d/vxdbms3 stop # if running
b. Configure the package:
swconfig VRTSdbms3
c. Check the state of the package - should be set to configured.
QXCR1000772378: SG SMS Serviceguard eRAC bundle Uninstall Issue
• What is the problem?
The following SG SMS bundles that include Serviceguard extension for RAC (SGeRAC)
require additional uninstall steps, if the SGeRAC patches PHSS_36928 and PHSS_36929
have been installed:
— T2777CB
— T8687CB
— T8697CB
• What is the workaround?
1. Run the cmdeleteconfcommand
2. On each node, manually delete the file /etc/cmcluster/cmclconfig
3. Remove SGeRAC or the SG SMS T2777CB bundle using swremove.
QXCR1000752407: Oracle Disk Manager (ODM) I/O error
• What is the problem?
When using Oracle with ODM, Oracle may encounter an I/O error causing one of the
following error messages to be displayed:
ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P005
ORA-01115: IO error reading block from file 5 (block # 64128)
ORA-17500: ODM err:ODM ERROR V-41-4-1-264-14 Bad address

• What is the workaround?
There is no workaround. A patch to fix this problem is being developed. ODM will not be
operable, if you experience this problem. For a temporary fix, contact your HP representative.
