• Revised note about Veritas™ Dynamic Multipathing (DMP) to make clear that DMP is
enabled by default. HP-UX native multipathing is not supported with CVM. HP-UX native
multipathing can be configured, and is supported with VxVM only, provided the four new
patches added to Table 1–6 (and listed below) are installed.
• Revised Veritas™ Storage Foundation Features Included with All HP Serviceguard Storage
Management Suite Bundles section to include Hardware Assisted E-Copy and Configuration
Backup and Restore.
• Revised Table 1–2 Products, Features, and Associated Bundles to include Dynamic LUN
Expansion in all SG SMS bundles and to extend Storage Checkpoints and Storage Rollback
to be included in all SG SMS bundles.
• Revised Table 1–6 Required or Recommended Patches and Associated Bundles to include four new
patches: PHCO_38235, PHKL_38236, PHKL_38241, and PHKL_38260.
• Revised Known Problems and Workarounds section to include patches that are workarounds
for QXCR1000785683, QXCR1000752407, and QXCR1000797392.

The What's New with Serviceguard section was revised to include information on:
• Support of CFS nested mounts
• Support of 16 CFS nodes
• Increased number of LVM volume groups supported
• Support of LVM 2.0 volume groups
• Support of mixed OS clusters (HP-UX 11i v2 and 11i v3)
Other changes include:
• Oracle 10gR2 and 11gR1 are supported and Oracle certified with SG SMS verison A.02.00
on 11i v3.
• Support of Extended Distance Clusters (EDC) with SG SMS version A.02.00 on HP-UX 11i
v3.
• A statement that ODM must be used with Oracle RAC was added to the Product Issues and
Limitations section.
• A procedure for removing a node from a cluster has been added to the Product Issues and
Limitations section.
