What’s in this Version
HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.01.01 is being
released on HP-UX 11i v2. The HP Serviceguard Storage Management
Suite bundles deliver core HP Serviceguard products and Veritas Volume
Manager (VxVM) and File System (VxFS, also known as JFS) in all
bundles. Support for Veritas Cluster File system (CFS) is available in
certain bundles. A summary of all products delivered in each bundle is
listed in Table 1-1, “Products and Associated Bundles.”
The following Storage Foundation features are common across all the HP
Serviceguard Storage Management Suite bundles:
• 40TB with Extra Big File System
Extra Big File System Support—The maximum file system size for
the HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite is 40TB provided
the Disk Layout is version 6 or greater.
• Online Administration
• Dynamic Multi-pathing
• Intelligent Storage Provisioning
•Configuration Backup
• Storage Expert
• History logsystem access from multiple servers.
• Online Intent Log Resize
• Named Data Streams
• Online LUN Resize
• Portable Data Containers
• Multi-Volume File System
• Support for Serviceguard clusters up to 8 nodes for CFS
environments and up to 16 nodes for non-CFS environments using
HP 9000 or HP Integrity Servers or a combination of both.
