VXFEND: open(): Unable to open I18N message catalog

• What is the workaround? Set the export VCSI18N_LANG=en or
LANG=C.
Oracle Data Manager Limitation for Bundles T2776BA, T2796BA,
T2777BA, and T2797BA
• What is the limitation? Single instance Oracle databases are not
permitted outside of Serviceguard packages in environments using
T2776BA, T2796BA, T2777BA, and T2797BA. If there are any Oracle
instances not controlled by Serviceguard packages, a halt of the
system multi-node package SG-CFS-pkg could bring down the node
or cluster.
• What is the workaround? Place all Oracle single instances in
Serviceguard packages when deploying these bundles. In addition,
single instance Oracle packages using VxFS and VxVM must have a
direct dependency on the system multi-node package SG-CFS-pkg.
Oracle Data Manager (ODM) with VxFS and LVM
• What is the limitation? ODM for VxFS file systems on LVM volumes
is not supported.
• What is the workaround? Oracle Files that need ODM capability
should reside on a VxFS file system created on a VxVM/CVM
volume.
JAGaf81684 (SR8606421859) Upgrade/downgrade installation
with LLT fails
• What is the problem? When installing bundles that include the LLT
module, after installing and removing a bundle that also included the
llt module the subsequent installation fails.
• What is the workaround? Use kcmodule llt=unused before trying
the subsequent installation. For example, the upgrade sequence from
T2775BA to T2776BA would be:
1. swremove -x autoreboot=true T2775BA
2. kcmodule llt=unused
3. swinstall -x autoreboot=true T2776BA
