These products are delivered on the March 2006 HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite
media.
Due to the complexity of configuring clusters, you may wish to use Hewlett-Packard’s high
availability consulting services to ensure a smooth installation and rollout. Please contact your
HP representative to inquire about high availability consulting. In addition, you should work
with your HP representative to ensure that you have the correct firmware revisions for disk
drives, disk controllers, LAN controllers, and other hardware.
What’s in this Version
HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite Version A.01.00 is being released on HP-UX 11i
Version 2 Update 2. This is the first release of VERITAS Storage Management 4.1 with HP
Serviceguard. The HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite delivers core HP Serviceguard
products and VERITAS Volume Manager and File System (also known as JFS) in all bundles.
Support for VERITAS Cluster File system is available in certain bundles. A summary of all
products delivered in each bundle is listed in Table 1-1: “Products and Associated Bundles”,.

• Support for Serviceguard clusters up to 8 nodes for CFS environments and up to 16 nodes
for non-CFS environments using HP 9000 or HP Integrity Servers or a combination of both.
