HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite (Previous versions)
NOTE: Veritas DMP (Dymanic Multipathing) is enabled by default for VxVM and CVM disk
groups on HP-UX 11i v3. Since DMP is enabled by default for all VxVM and CVM disk groups,
no additional configuration is required to enable DMP, and HP-UX native multipathing will be
ignored by VxVM and CVM disk groups. HP-UX native multipathing is supported with VxVM only.
However, VxVM disks configured to use HP-UX native multipathing are not supported on systems
with CVM installed.
NOTE: The following HP Serviceguard Storage Management Suite product bundles were
discontinued and removed from the price list effective February 1, 2009:

• T2775BA
• T2776xx
The T2776CA, T2776CB, and T2776DB bundles will continue to be licensed only as a
component of the HP-UX operating environment bundles (MCOE bundles for 11i v2, HAOE
and DCOE bundles for 11i v3). The T2776CA, T2776CB, and T2776DB bundles cannot be
purchased and licensed independent from the HP-UX operating environment bundles that
include them.

What’s New with Serviceguard
The following Serviceguard version A.11.20 features and enhancements are included in the HP
Serviceguard Storage Management Suite version A.03.01 bundles for HP-UX 11i v3:
• New commands (and equivalent capabilities on Serviceguard Manager) provide a quick and
easy way to configure and deploy a Serviceguard cluster.
• New Serviceguard Manager capabilities.
• The new Live Application Detach (LAD) capability in Serviceguard allows a package's
applications to remain running (unmonitored) while you do maintenance on the node or cluster
on which the package is running.
