With the patches listed under “October 2009 Patches” (page 11), Serviceguard Manager
provides the following new capabilities:
Cluster Topology Map.
Coordinates all elements of the HA monitoring infrastructure into a single,
easy-to-use graphical format. You can view cluster status at a glance, perform
management tasks by right clicking cluster component icons in the map, and drag
a package icon to a node icon to perform a “move package” operation.
Local Syslog and Package Log Viewers.
Improve troubleshooting by quickly displaying the local syslog and package logs,
if consolidated logs are not available.
Cluster Configuration Enhancements.
Perform disk lock activation in half the time using the Disk and File Management
Tool from the Serviceguard Manager cluster configuration page.
Serviceguard Manager Load Time Enhancement.
Much faster loading of Serviceguard Manager pages into a web browser.
Integration with System Management Homepage (SMH) Network Tool.
Context-sensitive launch of SMH Network Tool lets you troubleshoot and perform
system network configuration changes in half the time from the Serviceguard
Manager user interface.
