HP Serviceguard Version A.11.18 Release Notes, September 2008

QXCR1000591254: Tooltip value incorrect
Problem: The tooltip over the Service Status column in a Serviceguard Manager
property page listed uninitialized as one of the possible values, which is not
correct.
Resolution: The incorrect value has been removed.
QXCR1000741159: Incorrect error message
Problem: Serviceguard Manager displayed a misleading error message if you
attempted to edit a Serviceguard modular package:
Cannot modify A.11.18 package <package name>
Resolution: The error message now correctly says:
Cannot modify modular (UPCC) package <package name>
For more information, see About Modular Packages” (page 26), and “Limitations”
(page 55) (under About the Serviceguard Manager SMH Plug-In”).
QXCR1000752875: Using Serviceguard Manager to edit a CFS package with environment
variables corrupts the package configuration file
Problem: Serviceguard Manager failed to prevent users from modifying or deleting
Veritas Cluster File System (CFS) packages.
Resolution: Serviceguard Manager no longer allows you to modify or delete CFS
packages, but does correctly display CFS environment variables in the package
property sheets.
QXCR1000765143 SGMgr failed to discover Oracle DB and instance on 10G and 11G.
Problem: In Serviceguard Extension for Oracle RAC (SGeRAC) installations,
Serviceguard Manager failed to discover Oracle 10g RAC and 11g RAC databases
and instances.
Resolution: The Oracle database discovery script has been updated to fix this
problem.
QXCR1000819120 SGMgr does not recognize some modular package access control policies
Problem: Serviceguard Manager Plug-in did not recognize Access Control Policies
that contained the keywords any_user, any_serviceguard_node, or
cluster_member_node, so a user might not be able to perform package
administration operations even though a package Access Control Policy allowed
it.
Resolution: Serviceguard Manager now recognizes these keywords
