Parameters whose Formal Requirements Have Changed
As of Serviceguard A.11.18, the rules for the values of the following parameters have
changed:
• package_name
• dependency_name
• service_name
The value of each of these parameters must now be: any name, up to a maximum of
39 characters, that:
• starts and ends with an alphanumeric character
• otherwise contains only alphanumeric characters or dot (.), dash (-), or underscore
(_)
• is unique among package names in this cluster
