time of publication. This list is subject to change without notice. Contact

JAGaf75382 (SR8606415528): lan2 has an IPv6 address
(fec0:0:0:f08::36) but not in config. file
What is the problem? This happens ONLY with an IPv6
configuration. When a primary network interface configured with IPv6
address fails, AND when the switching of an IPv6 address encounters
ENOMEM, users will see a message like the following in syslog:
There is(are) 1 incidence(s) of :
Sep 11 16:34:38 ptest90 cmcld[11930]: Failed to switch
fec0:0:0:f08::36 from lan1:34(0) to lan2:27(3):
Not enough space
And then any subsequent SG config operations (like cmapplyconf etc.)
will fail with the following message:
Sep 11 17:33:29 (root@ptest90) cmapplyconf -f -v -C
/var/opt/sgtest/tmp/cmcluster/OPERATION_ptest90_2005
09091947.ascii
Checking cluster file:
/var/opt/sgtest/tmp/cmcluster/OPERATION_ptest90_200509091947
.ascii
Note : a NODE_TIMEOUT value of 2000000 was found in line 17.
For a significant portion of installations, a higher setting
is more appropriate. Refer to the comments in the cluster
configuration ascii file or Serviceguard manual for more
information on this parameter.
