Serviceguard allows you to create and manage high availability clusters.
This new version of Serviceguard is officially known as Serviceguard
A.11.17 on HP-UX 11i v3, but is sometimes also referred to as
Serviceguard A.11.17.01.
Serviceguard Bundled Components - New Product
Structure
The following Serviceguard components are now available for HP-UX 11i
v3:
• Product T1905CA —A.11.17—software and license
• Product T1906CA —A.11.17—documentation
As of Serviceguard A.11.17 on HP-UX 11i v3, the following products are
bundled with Serviceguard, as components of the Serviceguard
product,T1906CA:
• The new Serviceguard Manager web-based graphical user interface
(GUI), version B.01.00.
This new version is also known as the SMH Plug-in, or simply
plug-in, version. See “About the Serviceguard Manager SMH
Plug-In” on page 16.
• The Cluster Object Manager (COM), version B.04.01.
The Cluster Object Manager is the part of Serviceguard that
communicates with the older, standalone (station-management)
version of Serviceguard Manager, which is still supported.
• The SGWEBEMProviders product, version A.01.00.
SG-WEBEM is used by the standalone (station-management) version
of Serviceguard Manager, and may in future be used by the new,
web-based (plug-in) version.
