Serviceguard Version A.11.17 on HP-UX 11i v3 Release Notes
Known Problems and Workarounds
Chapter 156
NOTE If for some reason you need to proceed without the patch, you must
follow the “Off-Line Replacement” procedure under “Replacing LAN or
Fibre Channel Cards” in chapter 8 of Managing Serviceguard.
Known Problems and Workarounds for the
Serviceguard Manager Plug-In
The following are known problems and suggested workarounds for
Serviceguard Manager version B.01.00.
JAGag05829: Operations log window should point to the
operation just performed.
What is the problem? The Operations Log does not distinguish between
these two types of refresh actions:
1. Refresh actions triggered by the user
In this case, the top summary table should focus on the row selected
by the user, and automatically scroll to the row position.
2. Refresh actions triggered by an administrative or
configuration operation
In this case, the top summary table should focus on the operation
row for the operation last executed, and automatically scroll to the
very top.
This defect will be fixed in version B.01.01.
What is the workaround or available patch? A workaround for this
problem has been implemented in B.01.00.
The operation(s) which occurred in the past 20 seconds (or an arbitrary
period of time of about 1 minute) are distinguished by a bold font, so the
most recent operation will be evident even when the focus is on a
different row.
JAGag05831: A few operations do not immediately show in the
Operations Log
What is the problem? An Operations Log browser window refresh may
not be triggered by a non-Administrative or non-Configuration
operation.
