NOTE If you are replacing, rather than removing, the interface, and you have
applied patch PHNE_35894,you do not need to bring down the cluster,
and you may be able to do the replacement online; see “Replacing LAN or
Fibre Channel Cards” in chapter 8 of Managing Serviceguard. (See
“Patches and Fixes in this Version” on page 46, and “JAGag27186
(SR8606472298): OLR of a LAN Card in SG cluster fails” on page 55, for
information about the patch and the problem it fixes.)
About the Serviceguard Manager SMH Plug-In
HP Serviceguard Manager is a new web-based, HP System Management
Homepage (HP SMH) plug-in application, that replaces the functionality
of the earlier Serviceguard management tools, ClusterView and the SAM
High Availability tool. HP Serviceguard Manager allows you to monitor
and administer a Serviceguard A.11.17 cluster on HP-UX 11i v3 from
any system with a web browser.
Unlike previous Serviceguard management tools, HP Serviceguard
Manager requires no additional software on your Windows, HP-UX or
Linux system. Using your web browser, you can log into an HP System
Management Homepage (SMH) and use the HP Serviceguard Manager
tool, as well as other management and monitoring tools.
NOTE Additional information on HP SMH is available from
http://docs.hp.com -> HP-UX 11i v3 Operating Environment ->
System Administration.
HP Serviceguard Manager Main Page provides you with a summary of
the health of the cluster including the status of each node and each
package. HP Serviceguard Manager is also integrated with Distributed
Systems Administration Utilities (DSAU) to display the consolidated
cluster log (syslog) and consolidated package logs.
