What You Can Do
Depending on your SMH and Serviceguard security privileges, you can do the following:
• Monitor, create, modify, run, and halt a cluster.
• Monitor, run, and halt nodes.
• Create and modify failover and multi-node packages, including configuring package
dependencies. You can also modify Auto Run and Node Switching settings.
• Monitor, run, halt, and move failover, multi-node, and system multi-node packages.
New Features
HP Serviceguard Manger version B.03.50 (September 2012 patch - PHSS_43153) supports the
following features:
• Support for configuration, administration, and monitoring of an SGeSAP package with the
sap_stop_blocked attribute in the sgesap/sapinstance module.
This enhancement requires SGeSAP (September 2012 patch - PHSS_43196) or the superseding
patch.
• Support for configuration, administration, and monitoring of an SGeSAP package with
sapcontrol_usage attribute in the sgesap/sap_global module.
This enhancement requires SGeSAP (July 2012 patch - PHSS_42569) or the superseding
patch.
HP Serviceguard Manager version B.03.40 (July 2012 patch) supports the following features:
• Support for configuration, administration and monitoring of SiteController package for
Metrocluster 3PAR from Serviceguard Manager. This enhancement requires patch —
Metrocluster 3PARRC A.01.00 PHSS_43098 or superseding patch.
• Support for periodic async feature on MC3PAR.
