Limitations
The following lists the limitations of using Serviceguard NFS Toolkit A.11.31.03 with Serviceguard
A.11.18 and CFS:
• Lock coherency for multiple NFS servers is not supported. NFS file lock coherency is not
supported when multiple NFS servers are concurrently accessing a file. Lock operations
does not return an error, but lock coherency is not guaranteed. This may cause data corruption
or cause an application to hang.
• Cross mounting using the nfs_xmnt script is not supported, since CFS provides file sharing
functionality within the cluster.
• Secure NFS is not supported when using Serviceguard with CFS.
• The maximum number of NFS server nodes available is four.
• NFS Version 4 protocol is not supported.
• The ServiceGuard supports Cross Subnet Failover. However, HA-NFS has a few limitations
with Cross Subnet configurations. For Cross Subnet support details, refer “Managing
