Table 1 New Fixes in the Version A.11.31.02
Problem DescriptionDTS Number
Intermittently, when a Highly Available NFS
package is stopped, the rpc.statd process fails to
restart, and displays the following
message:/usr/sbin/rpc.statd: already startedThe
rpc.statd process is killed but not restarted. This
causes NFS file locking problems. This issue is fixed
for the HP-UX 11i v1 September 2005 release.
QXCR1000552924 (JAGaf75195)
The Highly Available NFS File Lock Migration
script, nfs.flm, exits if cp(1) fails. Thus information
regarding remote servers and clients is not
synchronized in the files under /var/statmon/sm.
The issue is fixed for the HP–UX 11i v1 September
2005 and HP–UX 11i v2 June 2006 releases.
