Problem DescriptionDTS Number
Intermittently, when a Highly Available NFS package is stopped, the rpc.statd
process fails to restart with the following message:
/usr/sbin/rpc.statd: already started
The rpc.statd process does get killed but is not restarted. This causes NFS file
locking problems.
This fix is with respect to the 11i v1 September 2005 release.

The Highly Available NFS File Lock Migration script, nfs.flm, exits if cp(1) fails.
Thus information (files in /var/statmon/sm) regarding remote servers and clients
is not kept synchronized.
The fix for this problem is with respect to both the 11i v1 September 2005 release
and the 11i v2 June 2006 release.
