Serviceguard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.06 and A.11.23.05 Software and

Patch Requirements

Serviceguard NFS Toolkit A.11.23.05 and A.11.11.06 requires Serviceguard version A.11.13 or

later because these versions of NFS toolkit takes advantage of the updated package

integration framework delivered in Serviceguard A.11.13 or later. This new framework

enables multiple Serviceguard partner software packages to be combined more easily into an

integrated solution.

If the File Lock Migration feature of NFS Toolkit A.11.11.06 and A.11.23.05 is enabled, then

Serviceguard version A.11.15 or later is required.

To ensure that the File Lock Migration feature functions properly, install HP-UX 11i v1 NFS

General Release and Performance Patch, PHNE_26388 (or a superseding patch). For HP-UX

11i v2, the feature functions properly without a patch.

IMPORTANT Y ou cannot use Serviceguard NFS Toolkit without NFS Services.

Patch Requirements

Serviceguard NFS Toolkit A.11.23.05 does not require any patches.

HP tested Serviceguard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.06 with the following patches:

• HP-UX 11i v1 NFS GR patch PHNE_26388

• Transport cumulative patch PHNE_25644

• PM patches - PHKL_24253, PHKL_24254, PHKL_24255, PHKL_24256, and PHKL_27091

• SCSI IO Subsystem PHKL_25896

• mountall cumulative patch, PHCO_24777
