MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit A.11.00.04 and A.11.11.01 Software and

Patch Requirements

IMPORTANT You cannot use MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit without NFS Services.

HP tested A.11.00.04 on the following patches and software:

• HP-UX 11.0 NFS GR patch PHNE_23249

• MC/ServiceGuard A.11.09

• MC/ServiceGuard cumulative patch PHSS_22683

HP tested A.11.11.01 on the following patches and software:

• HP-UX 11.11 NFS GR patch PHNE_23248

• MC/ServiceGuard A.11.09

• MC/ServiceGuard cumulative patch PHSS_22683

Hardware Requirements

HP tested MC/ServiceGuard Toolkit A.11.00.04 and A.11.11.01 over 4 servers.

Data disks associated with MC/ServiceGuard NFS package must be external disks. All

servers that support the MC/ServiceGuard NFS package must have access to the external

disks, meaning the disks must be attached to a shared bus connected to all servers supporting

the package.

OS Platform and Version Compatibility

MC/ServiceGuard and MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit are available only on HP 9000 series

800 servers.

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit version A.11.00.04 is supported only on HP-UX 11.0.

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit version A.11.11.01 is supported only on HP-UX 11.11.
