MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.03 Software and Patch

Requirements

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit version A.11.11.03 requires MC/ServiceGuard version A.11.13,

because this version of NFS toolkit takes advantage of the updated package integration

framework delivered in MC/ServiceGuard A.11.13. This new framework enables multiple

MC/ServiceGuard partner software packages to be combined more easily into an integrated

solution.

If the new File Lock Migration feature of NFS Toolkit A.11.11.03 is enabled, then

MC/ServiceGuard version A.11.15 is required.

To ensure that the File Lock Migration feature functions properly, install HP-UX 11i v1 NFS

General Release and Performance Patch, PHNE_26388 (or a superceding patch).

IMPORTANT You cannot use MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit without NFS Services.

HP tested MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.03 with the following patches:

• HP-UX 11i v1 NFS GR patch PHNE_26388

• Transport cumulative patch PHNE_25644

• PM patches - PHKL_24253, PHKL_24254, PHKL_24255, PHKL_24256, and

PHKL_27091

• SCSI IO Subsystem PHKL_25896

• mountall cumulative patch, PHCO_24777

Hardware Requirements

HP tested MC/ServiceGuard Toolkit A.11.11.03 over a 3-node cluster.
