MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.03 Release Notes

In the earlier versions of MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit, ﬁle locks were not maintained when

an NFS server package was moved to a new node. To address this limitation, the latest

version of MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit, A.11.11.03, includes a new feature - File Lock

Migration. NFS clients reclaim the ﬁle locks automatically following an NFS server package

failover or manual package migration.

MC/ServiceGuard NFS Toolkit A.11.11.03 is for HP-UX 11i v1 only. Therefore, the File Lock

Migration feature is not available for HP-UX 11.0.

NOTE MC/ServiceGuard A.11.15 must be installed to enable the File Lock Migration

feature.
