1. Log in as root.
2. xfs should be running. To check this, run the following command: $ ps -ef | grep
xfs You can tell xfs is running if the printout looks like the following:
root 47 0 0 21:58:01 ?
0:01 vxfsd root 1806 1 0 21:59:19 ? 0:13 /usr/bin/X11/xfs - config
/etc/X11/fs/config -port 7000 -daemon -quiet_if_addrinuse
3. If xfs is not running, enter: $ /sbin/init.d/xfs start To make the setting permanent,
so that it won't need to be restarted after a reboot, edit the /etc/rc.config.d/xfs file.
Change the line: RUN_X_FONT_SERVER=0 to read: RUN_X_FONT_SERVER=1
4. Confirm thatxfs is still running and add xfs to font path. Run the xset command as
follows: $ xset +fp tcp/:7000 $ xset fp rehash
To confirm the font path, run the xset command as follows: $ xset -q
5. You should see the added font path in the beginning of font path Font Path:
tcp/:7000, /usr/lib/X11/fonts/ hp_roman8/75dpi,...
6. Edit the following file: /opt/sgmgr/jre/lib/font.properties.zh_TW_Big5 Comment
out the line for the environment variable hp.fontpath by putting a "#" in front of the line:
# hp.fontpath
JAGaf43915 Assertion error when focus gained during disconnect/reconnect
What is the problem? When the user disconnects, and then reconnects a session, the grayish box
for the session disappears and then reappears. If the user clicks on the re-appearing cluster object
immediately, it will trigger an assertion exception.
What is the workaround? The assertion error will create a log dialog window. You can click the
continue button, and resume if this problem is encountered
JAGaf32042 Standby LANs config does not work properly (See also JAGae87650)
What is the problem? In the Serviceguard Manager A.04.00 and A.04.02 Cluster Configuration
screens, once you deselect a standby interface, it will not allow you to reselect that standby
interface.
What is the workaround? There is no workaround.
JAGaf17035 Some accessibility short-cut keys do not work in non-English locale.
What is the problem? Some accessibility short-cut keys do not work in traditional Chinese, simplified
Chinese, Korean, or Japanese.
What is the workaround? There is no workaround. If you require short-cut keys, install the English
version.
JAGaf16670 - Startup issues with Java Webstart
What is the problem? There are two problems:
• First: With non-Windows systems running Mozilla, you have to manually register Webstart
as a helper application.
• Second: When updating Serviceguard Manager on the client side, the SIM (Systems Insight
Manager) client Java Web Start uses the old .jar files.
What is the workaround? There are two workarounds:
• First: With non-Windows systems running Mozilla, go to the browser menu and select
Preferences -> Navigator -> Helper App. For the settingField Value, put the following:
