Installing Serviceguard Manager on Windows
Install Serviceguard Manager on a computer that has Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional with
Service Pack 1 or later, Windows XP Professional Edition, Windows 2003 Server or Windows
Vista.
NOTE:
If you currently have an older version of Serviceguard Manager, uninstall it first: Start
-> Programs -> Serviceguard Manager -> Uninstall.
1. Decide from where to get the Serviceguard Manager A.05.02 software:

Proceed to step 2.

a. Go to http://hp.com/go/softwaredepot . Click High Availability,
then Serviceguard Manager.
b. Click on the link under Download Software Select sgmgr_a0501.exe
You can store the file on your system, or run it directly from the website.
If you download to your system, you can remove it after installation.

2. Start the installation by clicking on sgmgr_a0501.exe.
Read and follow the instructions on the screen.
3. Start Serviceguard Manager A.05.02 by clicking on the SG Manager A.05.02 icon on your
desktop, or from Start -> Programs -> Seriveguard Manager.
If Serviceguard Manager A.05.02 does not start, do the following:
Use Windows Explorer to verify the following folders were installed:
bin
examples
jre
lib
log
users
ov (if OpenView Network Node Manager is already installed on the PC)
